This unit ilustrates the use of open belts in tandem. The drive shaft with its pulley engages a belt running over a pulley on the intermediate shaft. A second pulley on this intermediate shaft drives the output shaft by another belt. Pointers on all three shafts show speeds, phasing and direction of rotations involved.
